This is a performance-based class, which helps students to gain confidence and self-esteem. We teach age-appropriate dance routines to pop music and classics from the past! We put on a rockin' performance in costumes for the showcase! Dancers will get to keep a t-shirt on the last day! *This class will perform at the Spotlight Showcase at the end of the session.

Pokemon: Trading Card Game by Thom Denick

(9 Classes) This class will focus on learning to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The class will begin with learning the basics of the game, and then allow experienced players to battle, while newer players will continue to learn the game throughout the session.
Pre-built, ready-to-play decks will be provided in the class. There will also be a “build-a-deck” challenge and a mini-tournament towards the end of the semester. Taught by a Farragut dad.

(11 Classes) Can you survive the stage? Grab your pickaxe & join us for MINECRAFT the MOVIE MUSICAL. We'll sing, dance, act, and craft our way through an exciting adventure inspired by Minecraft! Young performers will bring favorite characters and imaginative worlds to life while learning the basics of musical theatre. Through theatre games, music, movement, and storytelling, students will build confidence, creativity, and teamwork—all while preparing to perform for the Spotlight Showcase. Under the direction of Rachel Mixon, students won't just perform in a musical—they'll help create it! Throughout the session, performers will work together to design scenery, craft props, and create costume pieces that transform the classroom into their very own Minecraft world. Every child plays an important role both onstage and behind the scenes, making this a truly hands-on theatrical experience.
Students will learn age-appropriate vocal technique, choreography, acting, stage presence, and teamwork in rehearsals designed especially for young performers. Whether your child is brand new to the stage or already loves to perform, each child will have a chance to shine as they'll build confidence, creativity, and communication skills in a fun and encouraging environment. *This class will perform at the Spotlight Showcase at the end of the session.

In this class, young artists will learn to create beautiful earrings, headbands, anklets, chokers, necklaces, and bracelets. Students will perfect their jewelry making skills and techniques while working with different kinds of wires, scissors, pliers, clasps, beads, and other unique adornments. Every class will be an artistic adventure!
Hero Workshop by Hero Workshop

(11 Classes) In the Hero Workshop, we learn about Interactive Storytelling and Role Playing Games. Everyone in the group will design their own Hero by thinking deeply about what it is that makes someone a hero, and what kind of powers they would like their hero to have. Then we will learn about creating an adventure, and take our Heroes on an imaginative adventure using the fantasy worlds of Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition ruleset.

(10 Classes) In this super fun kickboxing/martial arts class with a yoga twist, our goal is to channel the wild child in every kid. The class is designed to introduce basic self-defense concepts in a playful and safe environment. Your Ninja will engage in group activities, games, yoga, and physical conditioning to build strength, self-esteem, and learn principles of safety and self-control. It's important to note that this is a non-contact class, and we prioritize personal space and mindfulness throughout the session. All are welcome! (10 Classes) Students will learn to make imaginative characters like dragons, unicorns, mermaids, robots, monsters and anime people. All new projects each session! They will learn to create them in 2-D form (drawing and painting) as well as 3-D (sculpture). Students will draw, paint, sculpt and build their creatures. They will also create otherworldly environments for such creatures like candy castles and fairy/dragon gardens.

(10 Classes) Join us in this creative class where students will learn and practice hands-on the basic techniques of handbuilding with clay: pinch, coil and slab. We will make a variety of projects with seasonal themes: pinch pots, Halloween pumpkins, skulls and ghosts, candle holders, pendants for necklaces and windchimes. We will also work with various materials to design and construct 3 dimensional sculptures and projects while learning how to handle tools safely and apply different techniques. Cooking & Desserts Around the World by Sylvia Baar-Limon

(11 Classes) Our culinary expedition around the world gets ready for another tour! Students will participate hands-on in preparing recipes from different parts of the world. We will visit a new country each week and learn how to prepare a delicious dish and then, best of all, taste it! We will use healthy, fresh and mostly organic ingredients. Our culinary creations this session will feature new recipes and favorites: smoothies, sweet and savory salads, cupcakes, pasta, sushi and desserts from all over the world. Each student will collect the recipes along our journey as well as design each country's flag in their "Passport to the Kitchen" which will be taken home at the end of the session. Students will also learn about geography by locating the countries on the world map and other interesting facts about language, art, history and customs with puzzles and games. This energetic musical theatre class gives students the opportunity to experience what it's like to be part of a real production while developing skills they'll use both onstage and off. Taught by Miss Rachel, this class goes beyond learning songs and choreography. Students become part of the creative team by helping design scenery, build props, and create costume elements that bring the production to life. Rachel's signature hands-on approach gives every performer ownership of the show while introducing them to the many creative jobs that make theatre possible. No previous theatre experience is necessary—just bring your imagination and a willingness to have fun! Through a semester of classes, students will strengthen their acting, singing, dancing, character development, and stage presence while learning the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and creative problem-solving. Whether your child dreams of center stage or is simply looking for a fun and welcoming place to grow, there's a role for everyone. The session concludes with an exciting performance at the Spotlight Showcase.
