We promote a healthy lifestyle for kids by doing fun, physical activity that teaches kids to express themselves through music and movement.  This is a performance-based class, which helps students to gain confidence and self-esteem.  We teach age-appropriate dance routines to pop music and classics from the past! We put on a rockin' performance in costumes for the showcase! Dancers will get to keep a t-shirt on the last day! *This class will perform at the Spotlight Showcase at the end of the session.​​​​​​

Dazzling Disney Crafts w/Miss Zee  by Zee Chang  FULL

Prime Time Fun Zone  by Prime Time Sports

This fun, high-energy class introduces kids to a variety of age-appropriate games, challenges and activities that develop coordination and confidence in a positive atmosphere. TechKidz: Robot Building Workshop  by Parker-Anderson Enrichment

1st - 5th Grade

(10 Classes) Learn the basics of robotics including gears, motors, circuits, and more! Students design amazing robots that can move on their own, using STEM manipulatives such as LEGOs, K’nex and Zoob kits! Additionally, you will build and take home 2 awesome robots! (Price includes materials fee)

Pokemon: Trading Card Game by Thom Denick  FULL

2nd - 5th Grade

(10 Classes) This class will focus on learning to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The class will begin with learning the basics of the game, and then allow experienced players to battle, while newer players will continue to learn the game throughout the session.
Pre-built, ready-to-play decks will be provided in the class. There will also be a “build-a-deck” challenge and a mini-tournament towards the end of the semester. Taught by a Farragut dad.

Mixon Musical Theatre Jr  by Rachel Howe Mixon  FULL

(12 Classes) K-Pop Heroes! Get ready to sing, dance, and save the world—K-pop style! Young performers will step into the spotlight as members of two rival music groups on an epic mission. Using songs from K-Pop Demon Hunters students will: 1) Learn catchy choreography and age-appropriate vocals 2) Explore character building through fun theatre games, 3) Build teamwork, imagination, and self-expression, 4) Prepare a showcase performance with simple costumes, props, and stage presence. Kids will love our song selections: "How It’s Done", "Golden", & "Soda Pop". No prior experience needed—just a love of music and movement! Help your kids build confidence, listening skills, cooperation, and let us give every child a chance to shine at the Spotlight Showcase. (12 Classes) New students start with our beginner curriculum, where they learn the fundamentals of breaking in a structured, fun, and engaging way. They will learn top rock, footwork, and freeze. No dance experience needed. Great for TK/preschool and grades above. This class is also great for those with experience to brush up on the moves previously learned. *This class will perform at the Spotlight Showcase at the end of the session.

Ms. Asha's Jewelry Design Studio  by Ms. Asha

(12 Classes) *Now open to TK students*  Calling all creative artists and future designers …join Farragut and Spotlight's own Miss Asha as you indulge your imagination and craft one-of-kind bejeweled creations! In this class, young artists will learn to create beautiful earrings, headbands, anklets, chokers, necklaces, and bracelets. Students will perfect their jewelry making skills and techniques while working with different kinds of wires, scissors, pliers, clasps, beads, and other unique adornments. Every class will be an artistic adventure!

Hero Workshop  by Hero Workshop

3rd - 5th Grade

(12 Classes) In the Hero Workshop, we learn about Interactive Storytelling and Role Playing Games. Everyone in the group will design their own Hero by thinking deeply about what it is that makes someone a hero, and what kind of powers they would like their hero to have. Then we will learn about creating an adventure, and take our Heroes on an imaginative adventure using the fantasy worlds of Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition ruleset.

Here are a list of concepts that students are exposed to in the Hero Workshop: The Hero's Journey - Storytelling - What makes a Hero? - Cartography (map-making, and map-reading) - Basic Math and Statistics - Basic Algebra - Logic Puzzles in games - Making decisions as a group, and cooperation - Role Playing Game Design - What makes a Scenario interesting?

Come sing-along to all your favorite songs and learn some fun new ones. We’ll learn the basics of pitch, rhythm, and even harmony so you can wow the crowd or just your friends when you sing for others to hear! Great prep for Mixon Musical Theatre Jr. so you can sing at your very best. Song suggestions are welcome and groovin’ to the beat is encouraged! *This class will perform at the Spotlight Showcase at the end of the session.

Zooga Ninjas  by Zooga Yoga

(13 Classes) In this super fun kickboxing/martial arts class with a yoga twist, our goal is to channel the wild child in every kid. The class is designed to introduce basic self-defense concepts in a playful and safe environment. Your Ninja will engage in group activities, games, yoga, and physical conditioning to build strength, self-esteem, and learn principles of safety and self-control. It's important to note that this is a non-contact class, and we prioritize personal space and mindfulness throughout the session. All are welcome! As a token of completion, your child will receive a "graduation" Zooga bracelet at the end of the session.  *This class will perform at the Spotlight Showcase at the end of the session.

Magical Creations  by Art Lessons LA

(13 Classes) Students will learn to make imaginative characters like dragons, unicorns, mermaids, robots, monsters and anime people. All new projects each session! They will learn to create them in 2-D form (drawing and painting) as well as 3-D (sculpture).  Students will draw, paint, sculpt and build their creatures. They will also create otherworldly environments for such creatures like candy castles and fairy/dragon gardens.

Ceramic & 3D Sculptures  by Sylvia Baar-Limon

(13 Classes) Join us in this creative class where students will learn and practice hands-on the basic techniques of handbuilding with clay: pinch, coil and slab. We will make a variety of projects with seasonal themes: pinch pots, Halloween pumpkins, skulls and ghosts, candle holders, pendants for necklaces and windchimes. We will also work with various materials to design and construct 3 dimensional sculptures and projects while learning how to handle tools safely and apply different techniques. Taught by Sylvia Baar-Limon, teacher and ceramic artist.

Zooga Cheer & Tumbling  by Zooga Yoga

Students will learn foundational cheer skills, fun mini-routines, and safe tumbling progressions, all in a supportive and confidence-building environment. Every effort is celebrated, and every success is cheered on! Perfect for kids who love to move, perform, and shine. 🌟 All levels are welcome! Sew What?! 101  by GreenArts

1st - 5th Grade

(13 Classes) Sewing for beginners and beyond. All skill levels are welcome, we will focus on basics in this class. GreenARTS Sew What?! Class uses colorful felt fabric and embroidery threads, showing children how to sew a project from scratch, coming up with an idea, drawing a pattern, choosing materials, cutting and sewing fun little projects like cute plushies and custom zipper bags.

TechKidz: Video Game Design  by Parker-Anderson Enrichment

(13 Classes) Students will learn how to design and modify their own exciting arcade-style video games using Scratch! They will learn how to control characters, objects, and outcomes in their games as they increase the difficulty level and add more features. Cooking & Desserts Around the World  by Sylvia Baar-Limon

(13 Classes) Our culinary expedition around the world gets ready for another tour! Students will participate hands-on in preparing recipes from different parts of the world. We will visit a new country each week and learn how to prepare a delicious dish and then, best of all, taste it!
Each student will collect the recipes along our journey as well as design each country's flag in their "Passport to the Kitchen" which will be taken home at the end of the session. Students will also learn about geography by locating the countries on the world map and other interesting facts about language, art, history and customs with puzzles and games. Taught by Sylvia Baar-Limon, teacher and chef.

Sew What?! 102 Advanced by GreenArts

1st - 5th Grade

(13 Classes) This is an advanced sewing class, this class is NOT for beginners (we will not focus on basics in this class). In this GreenARTS Sew What?! Class we are still using colorful felt fabric and embroidery threads to create projects, BUT we’ll be focusing more on advanced stitches like the chain stitch, blanket stitch, french knots and many more techniques to create fun little projects, cute plushies and custom zipper bags. ***Students must have completed the beginner class to take this class***

Basketball Fundamentals by Coach Floyd
